Carole Hegg, 79, Widefield, CO, passed away on September 11, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. She struggled with her health these last few months.

Carole Arlene Fox was born in Kenmare, North Dakota on August 16, 1938 to Gordon and Lillian Fox. She graduated from Kenmare High School and was able to attend her 60th Class Reunion in August 2016. She married Gahlyn Hegg on February 9, 1957. They had 3 children - Shelley Igo (Richard), Brent (Patty Borish) and Susan, who preceded her in death.

Carole Arlene Fox was born in Kenmare, North Dakota on August 16, 1938 to Gordon and Lillian Fox. She graduated from Kenmare High School and was able to attend her 60th Class Reunion in August 2016. She married Gahlyn Hegg on February 9, 1957. They had 3 children - Shelley Igo (Richard), Brent (Patty Borish) and Susan, who preceded her in death.

Carole grew up in North Dakota and considered herself a farm girl moving to Widefield, CO in 1970. She started her own Mary Kay consulting business to help support her family and worked as a registrar at Pikes Peak College for 27 years. She retired from PPCC, but continued her Mary Kay business. She was a Red Hatter and loved to bake and host all sorts of parties often making Norwegian meatballs and riced potatoes. She loved a little gardening of her own especially her apple trees.

In addition to her children, Carole is survived by 8 grandchildren - Daffeny (Igo) Glotzbach, Christina Igo, Lindy (Igo) Leslie, Jonathan Igo, Tiffany (Hegg) Richens, Nicole (Hegg) Yost, Stephanie Adams and Lauren Bolster, 7 great-grandchildren - Andrew (3), Caden (4), Colton (6), Mitchell (8), Aiden (10), Cayetana (14) and Haleigh (17), her sister Sharon (Fox) Lee (Darwin), and her brother Ronald Fox (Joyce) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was a Godmother to Brenda (Lee) Thompson and Lara (Hegg) McCormick. She loved her family dearly.

Services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs on September 15, 2017 with burial at Evergreen Cemetery beside her daughter Susan Alicia Hegg. Visitation will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 10am, services will begin at 11am with a reception to follow. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery at 1:30.
